Midwest Restoration is a fast-growing restoration company specializing in emergency water mitigation, mold remediation and reconstruction services. Our mission is to provide exceptional restoration services with compassion, integrity and efficiency. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Branch Manager to oversee our growing opperations in Wassau WI.
Position Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success, profitability, and growth of the branch by leading operations, developing business, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position oversees day-to-day field operations while also serving as the primary driver of branch revenue through business development, relationship management, and sales leadership.
The Branch Manager is expected to actively build and maintain referral partnerships, identify new business opportunities, generate sales, and support project managers and technicians in converting opportunities into profitable work. This role serves as the primary on-site point of contact, coordinating crews, managing schedules, and communicating with project managers, clients, subcontractors, insurance professionals, and referral partners.
The Branch Manager ensures compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, and safety protocols while maintaining accurate documentation and financial performance. Success in this role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, sales acumen, business development skills, and hands-on experience in restoration and mitigation services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operational Oversight
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and lead culture building
- Set clear expectations around close rates, customer communication, and job documentation
- Conduct ride-alongs, trainings, and performance reviews
- Drive close rates on incoming calls and leads
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable technicians, crew leads, and project managers
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Standardize workflows (dispatch, communication, documentation)
- Improve speed to site, cycle time, customer experience
- Participate in and oversee after-hours/on-call rotation
- Support market expansion efforts (new territories or verticals)
- Help launch new services (e.g., contents, reconstruction)
Project & Production Management
- Oversee daily job flow from FNOL (first notice of loss) to collection
- Manage dispatching and scheduling to maximize efficiency and response times
- Ensure all jobs meet IICRC standards (S500, S520, etc.)
- Monitor job progress, drying performance, and documentation quality
- Maintain equipment readiness (inventory, maintenance, deployment)
- Step in on large or complex losses to help secure the job
· Lead reviews of high-value or high-complexity projects and provide guidance to project teams.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters on complex claims
- Ensure strong documentation to support scope of work, drying logs, justification for demolition
- Ensure proper response to emergency losses
- Be available and willing to step in and assist wherever needed
Sales & Business Development
- Own branch sales growth and new business development.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with plumbers, property managers, insurance agents, adjusters, facility managers, municipalities, and other referral partners.
- Personally conduct regular sales calls, networking events, lunches, and site visits to generate new business.
- Source, qualify, and close new commercial and residential restoration opportunities.
- Lead the branch's marketing and relationship-building efforts within the community.
- Support project managers and technicians in converting emergency calls into signed work authorizations.
- Track sales activity, referral partner engagement, and pipeline performance through the company's CRM or reporting tools.
- Develop strategic partnerships that increase market share within the branch territory.
- Identify competitive threats and market opportunities and implement plans to grow the branch.
- Track and manage revenue vs. budget, job profitability, average ticket size, equipment utilization
- Ensure high invoicing capture rate (minimal revenue leakage)
- Review estimates for accuracy and margin protection

Qualifications:
· 5 years of leadership experience (restoration preferred)
· Good understanding of construction and mitigation methods, estimating (Xactimate preferred), and building codes.
· Proven ability to manage P&L, budgets, KPIs, and operational performance.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Valid driver’s license; ability to travel
· Reliable and predictable attendance

This position operates in an office and field environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones.
