Position: Evening LPN Manager
Location: Eden Oak – Eden Prairie, MN
Setting: Assisted Living
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time PM Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Pay Range: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
Eden Oak is a newly opened and renovated 28-bed assisted living community in Eden Prairie, MN focused on providing personalized, high-quality care in a comfortable and supportive environment. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Evening LPN Manager to help lead our evening care team and ensure residents receive attentive and respectful care throughout the shift.
Position Summary
The Evening LPN Manager provides clinical support and shift leadership during the evening hours. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or on-duty Registered Nurses, this role oversees the daily workflow of the evening shift, supervises care staff, and helps ensure residents’ needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and coordination for the evening nursing shift.
- Supervise CNAs and nursing assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure quality resident care.
- Monitor the overall flow of activity throughout the facility and help direct staff to meet resident needs efficiently.
- Conduct rounds and observe residents for changes in condition, reporting concerns to the DON or RN as appropriate.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure residents are receiving proper care and attention throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care needs or updates.
- Assist with resolving concerns that arise during the shift and help maintain a calm, organized care environment.
- Follow assisted living policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned to support resident care and facility operations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Minnesota in good standing.
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Experience supervising or leading care staff is beneficial.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using computers for documentation and communication.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
