Direct Support Professional-ICS Programs
Location: Saint Paul
Open Positions: (PT positions have the availability to pick up shifts)
- Monday-Friday 9am-3pm

Routine tasks may include helping an individual with basic budgeting, menu planning, grocery shopping, job applications, mail management, transportation to appointments, household organization, and providing supportive listening. This list is intended to set general expectations and covers only the basics. The specific tasks will depend on the individual’s needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support services in accordance with Minnesota 245D regulations, ICS program requirements, Midwest Residential policies, and individual support plans.
- Support individuals with household tasks, meal preparation, laundry, organization, transportation coordination, medication reminders, appointments, and community activities.
- Encourage independence while also providing prompting, guidance, supervision, or hands-on assistance as appropriate to the individual’s needs.
- Build positive, respectful, and supportive relationships with individuals receiving services.
- Observe and report changes in condition, mental health, safety concerns, behaviors, or support needs to leadership.
- Assist individuals in maintaining safe, healthy, and respectful living environments.
Teamwork & Accountability:
- Work collaboratively with the Designated Coordinator (DC), coworkers, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Follow through on assigned tasks, resident support needs, and operational responsibilities.
- Attend required trainings, meetings, and compliance education sessions.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Complete documentation accurately and within required timelines.
- Document supports provided, resident participation, concerns observed, and interventions completed.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Minnesota 245D requirements, and company policies.

- Maintain professionalism, respectful communication, and appropriate workplace boundaries.
- Support a positive, respectful, and solution-focused work environment.
- Arrive to scheduled shifts on time and prepared to perform job responsibilities.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within the program.
Qualifications:
- Experience in mental health, behavioral health, housing services, assisted living, or human services preferred.
- Knowledge of Minnesota 245D and ICS services preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
