Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Advanced Providers/ Abortion Providers to join our team in delivering essential reproductive healthcare services. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing safe, respectful, and comprehensive care to individuals seeking abortion services in the IL Northwestern region, and Iowa and Wisconsin travelers.

All positions are paid, reflecting the importance of this vital work, and our clinic is located in Rockford, IL.
Pay is competitive, depends on license and type of provider as well as years of experience. Different options of contracts (FT/PT/Per Diem/Contract). Pay rate ranges from $50–$85/hour, based on experience and licensure.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and effective abortions (pills and/or procedures) in accordance with medical standards and protocols
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and counseling to ensure informed consent
- Provide pre-procedure education and post-procedure follow-up care to support patient recovery and well-being
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organizational guidelines
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic reproductive health services
- Ensure adherence to all safety, privacy, and confidentiality regulations at all times
- Educate patients on contraception options and reproductive health topics as appropriate
Experience
- Valid medical licenses or certification relevant to the practice of abortion care (e.g., physicians, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), and certified nurse-midwives)
- Proven experience performing abortions (pills and/or procedures) or comprehensive reproductive health services
- Strong understanding of reproductive rights, laws, and ethical considerations surrounding abortion care
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient counseling
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sensitive environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of current medical guidelines related to abortion procedures and post-care management
