The PT Teller plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service through handling various cash transactions, processing account-related inquiries, and maintaining accurate cash drawer balances. This position operates in a casual work environment with set hours, reporting directly to the Branch Manager and working as part of a small team. Hours are 12:30 to 5:30 M-F and every other Saturday from 8:30 to Noon.
Responsibilities
- Process cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately
- Manage account inquiries and provide timely customer support
- Balance cash drawer and perform daily cash reconciliation
- Adhere to compliance and security guidelines in all transactions
- Resolve customer issues and escalate when necessary
- Ensure accurate transaction processing and record keeping
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience with financial transactions and cash handling
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Basic math and data entry proficiency
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
