1st shift schedule: Wednesday,10AM-4:PM; Thursday - Saturday, 6AM-6PM
2nd shift schedule: Wednesday, 4PM-10PM; Thursday - Saturday, 6PM-6AM

General Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor is directly responsible for all activities of the employees reporting to them. The supervisor will be responsible for either the day or night team that operates the warehouse. Supervisor ensures the following: safe work environment, exceptional sanitation, respectful and dignified treatment with all persons within the workplace, quality and quantity of work performed and maintaining customer relations.

General Responsibilties include:
- Regular punctual attendance is a requirement of this position
- Knowledge of and adherence to all personal safety, food safety and food defense training and policies
- Safe operation of all material handling equipment
- Maintain clean work areas
- Fair and equal professional treatment of all employees
- Resolve customer, carrier & driver issues
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Directing the work activities of warehouse employees and the shipping office staff
- Training of employees
- Driving process and performance improvement
- Ensure accessorial charge document completion
- Monitoring & adherence to benchmarking standards
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding and training process
- Monitor employee performance and coach for improvement
- Monitoring attendance, breaks and lunches
- Ensures correct quality and quantity of the work performed
- Back up to Supervisors, Leads and customer service functions
- Expected to work additional shift to cover other leads, office staff and other Supervisor’s PTO • Perform regular warehouse duties and other duties as assigned by management
Task Specifics:
- Nurture a safety minded culture
- Participate in incident investigations
- Maintain high sanitation standards
- Direct supervision of warehouse leads and employees
- Initiates and administers appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary.
- OS & D claim investigation and resolution
- Identify WMS system issues and work with IT for resolution
- Participate in off-hours meetings and trainings
Skills Required:
- Ability to work in a range of temperatures
- Ability to read/write in English
- Basic math/computer skills
- Ability to function & lead effectively in a team & fast paced environment
- Ability to follow & give instructions effectively
- Ability to safely bend and twist repeatedly
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Prerequisites:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience operating forklift or pallet jack
- Previous experience managing teams in a warehouse environment (preferred)
- Previous experience with RF controlled inventory systems
- Previous experience handling food products (preferred)
- Supervisor Experience (preferred)

- BRC audit rating
- Satisfactory regulatory and customer audit results
- Operation performance metrics per customer agreements
