What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift CNC Machinist position at Midwest Press and Automation?
Midwest Press & Automation LLC is a fast paced, rapidly growing company servicing the metal forming industry. We are seeking a motivated individual with prior CNC experience to join our team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Programming CNC Horizontal Boring Mill and Lathe using G-Code
- Set up parts using overhead cranes and forklifts
- Machine parts complete to provided blueprints
- Perform in-process inspection and record accurate sizes at part completion
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area
Skill & Experience Requirements:
- High School Education
- Self-Motivated
- Manual mill & lathe experience
- CNC horizontal boring mill experience
- Display mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of Fanuc G and M Codes
- Read & understand blue prints
- Basic math skills including trigonometry
