What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Warehouse position at Midwest Peterbilt Group?
Description and Purpose:
The Parts Department is an integral part of this Company’s success. The Parts Warehouse personnel will accurately document incoming freight and stock the warehouse in an organized manner. Parts Warehouse personnel will keep the warehouse clean and monitor parts bins and shelves for low and out-of-stock inventory.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive incoming freight and add to stock in warehouse

Package and ship customers’ orders

Keep warehouse clean and orderly

Organize parts bins and label shelves with matching parts numbers

Operate a forklift and other equipment

Assist in driving parts truck for local parts procurement

Fulfill training requirement as directed by Parts Manager

Assist in cycle count of inventory
- Attend scheduled parts meetings
Education/Training or Experience:
-
High School graduate or GED required
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills preferred
- Must be able to meet driving insurability requirements
