We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Truck Technician to join our team at the Midwest Peterbilt Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical repairs on heavy-duty trucks off site with minimal supervision while working in the field.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Work from mobile repair truck/van at customer's location or in the field.
- Perform skilled mechanical repairs on trucks and equipment.
- Assist in training new technicians into Mobile Technician role.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Diploma from a technical college or equivalent experience (minimum 2-years' experience in heavy-duty truck repair) required
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with fundamental computer operations, spreadsheets, database, and e-mail
