Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager to oversee daily operations of our orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of medical office management. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing fiscal responsibilities, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The Practice Manager will serve as the key liaison between clinical staff, administrative teams, and partners to promote efficient practice operations and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including patient flow, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billingprocesses . Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
- Supervise medical administrative support staff, nursing personnel, and other clinical team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Oversee medical records management and ensure accurate documentation inaccordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement practice policies related to utilization management, revenue cycle and clinic-specific procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize workflow efficiency andimprove patient outcomes.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Background in medical office management or healthcare management within a clinical setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing teams in a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with Practice Management, EMR/EHR systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations.
- Background in fiscal management including budgeting and financial oversight.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with office management software and human resources functions.
- Prior experience in outpatient clinic management is advantageous but not required.
- Certification or background in finance is desired but not mandatory. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated healthcare team while ensuring operational excellence within a patient-centered environment.
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
