Nephrology nurse practitioner

Midwest Nephrology Group PLLC is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team.  Midwest Nephrology Group PLLC has been providing outstanding service and patient care to Midwest City and the surrounding communities since 2005. Our mission is to provide exceptional, compassionate and comprehensive health care.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

·        Managing patients with kidney related conditions, providing both acute and long-term care in hospitals, dialysis units and clinics.

·        Initiates and completes a detailed patient assessment

·        Orders and initiates appropriate medication, treatment, and consultation based on analysis

·        Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in EPIC

·        Preferred Nephrology experience

Requirements:

·        Masters degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

·        Current Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license

·        Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)

·        Advance Practice Registered Nurse ( APRN/APN) authorization in Oklahoma (ACNP preferred, FNP required)

·        Current BLS certification

·        Preferred Nephrology experience

·        Must be willing to travel between clinic, dialysis and hospital sites
