Job Overview

As a Truck Driver, you’ll transport steel products and other freight safely and reliably, supporting production needs. This role involves commercial truck driving and secure cargo handling.

Duties

• Drive flatbed on local routes as assigned
• Load, unload, and secure freight; handle materials manually when needed and follow safe cargo-handling practices.
• Complete delivery driving tasks, inspect equipment, and communicate route or cargo issues promptly.
• Your impact: Safe, dependable deliveries help customers keep their operations moving and receive the steel products they need.

Skills

• Required: Valid commercial driving qualifications for assigned equipment; experience with commercial truck driving, truck driving, delivery driving, and manual-transmission vehicles.
• Required: Ability to load and unload freight, perform manual handling, and follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
• Preferred: Delivery driver experience and familiarity with logistics.
• Preferred: Experience with flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, or automobile transportation.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials (hazmat), dangerous goods, and applicable hazardous materials regulations is preferred.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week

Experience:

• flatbed driving: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Chaufferu's License or CDL (Required)
• Medical Certificate or willingness to obtain one (Required)
