Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Powder Coater to join our team on 1st shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday). The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and a strong understanding of materials handling. As a Painter/Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying paint or powder coatings to aluminum and stainless steel, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Apply paint and powder coatings evenly and efficiently using spray guns and other application methods.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the painting process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial painting or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with a paint gun and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of auto body painting techniques is a plus.
- Strong materials handling skills with an emphasis on reducing mistakes and defects.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing setting and follow detailed instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Must be tobacco free. We don't hire tobacco users.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- The ability to work some overtime is expected.
