Quality Control Team Member

Position Summary:

A QC Team Member is responsible for checking the quality of all aspects of production throughout the plant.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Filling out the QC Checklists for each machine running in 4-5 rotations a day.

· Interacting with production Team Members about Quality issues in production runs. Consulting with management and Team members to make calls on quality issues.

· Checking that stickers, labels and placards are correct and match the products they are attached to.

· Helping with the QC department documentation on rework and hold tickets, SOP’s, shift notes, re-fill forms etc.

· Assisting the QC manager with product prototypes, shipping and research projects.

· Helping Production Team members with product information, blue print availability and accuracy issues.

· Ensure all data collection points are monitored and data is collected and recorded properly.

· Ensure collected Quality data is recorded and analyzed in a timely fashion.

· Checking QC Pallets picking accuracy.

Position Requirements:

· Able to write and speak clearly and accurately

· Able to communicate effectively with all Team Members

· Able to use Microsoft word and excel computer programs

· Able to use a tape measure, calipers and be comfortable with both metric and standard measurements.

· Self-motivated and goal oriented

· Ability to multitask and Develop action plans
