Day Porter – Hospital Facility
Location: Manhattan, KS
Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Type: Full-Time
Join Midwest Maintenance and help keep hospital spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. As a Day Porter, you’ll maintain high standards of cleanliness while supporting staff, patients, and visitors throughout the day.
What You’ll Do
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and high-touch areas.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum designated spaces.
- Collect and dispose of waste, including medical waste, per hospital guidelines.
- Monitor and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Provide friendly assistance to visitors and patients.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Custodial/janitorial experience preferred; training provided.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Required vaccinations perferred and PPE compliance.
