We design and manufacture proprietary equipment such as automated food-grade saws and integrated conveyor systems. Role Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical systems and components using industry-standard software and tools. This position requires the ability to work in a team environment communicating with several different departments. The goal is to design and fabricate with innovation and excellence in mind.
Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, components, and systems
• Collaborate with engineers to create innovative solutions for mechanical design challenges
• Utilize SolidWorks and other software to create 2D and 3D models
• Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to assess the structural integrity of designs
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all designs
• Participate in design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement
• Assist in the development of system design concepts and prototypes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Proficient in Office Suite
• Ability to reliably commute/relocate to Amarillo, TX
Experience:
• Mechanical design- 1 year (Preferred)
• SolidWorks- 1 year (Required)
