Truss Delivery Driver

The Truss Delivery Driver plays a critical role in the safe and efficient transportation of truss components to various construction sites. This position requires the individual to operate commercial vehicles responsibly while ensuring that all truss materials are loaded, secured, and delivered without damage. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to safely load, secure, and unload heavy oversized truss materials.
• Physical capability to handle manual labor associated with loading and unloading.

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial trucks to transport truss materials from the warehouse to construction sites safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload truss components carefully, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including times, mileage, and any incidents encountered during transportation.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and address any logistical challenges.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company safety policies.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment as needed to ensure operational readiness.
