What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transaction Coordinator position at Midwest Land Group?
Midwest Land Group is one of the fastest growing land real estate brokerages in the United States. Based out of Leawood, Kansas, we are rapidly expanding across a twenty state region. Our business model focuses on connecting buyers and sellers of land real estate - primarily hunting land, farmland, ranches, recreational properties, and investment properties.
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and professional Transaction Coordinator to assist our land agents and operations team at Midwest Land Group.
This is a full-time position that will be based out of our office in Leawood, KS. If you “get” our brand and have the desired skill sets listed below, we want you on our team.
This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contracts, amendments, agreements, and other forms for accuracy
- Enter information from contracts and forms into databases
- Follow up with agents on issues that need to be corrected on contracts and forms
- Coordinate with the Listings Team to publish new listings and update existing listings
- Communicate with title companies/attorney offices to ensure a smooth successful transaction
- Complete post-closing processes and communication with clients
- Continuously identify best practices and opportunities to further improve our operations processes
Desired Skills & Experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with sales team
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.), Google Docs, and other applicable software
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple projects at the same time
