Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and administrative support.
Duties:
- Collect and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology, coding, and documentation practices
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Experience with medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
