Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and team leadership. This position plays a key role in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment that supports company goals and customer expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and products.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse employees to achieve performance and safety goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular cycle counts and audits.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluations for warehouse staff.
- Oversee maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
- Track and report on key performance metrics such as accuracy, timeliness, and productivity.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial products or hose industry is a plus.
