Certified Medication Aide (CMA) – Weekend Overnight Shift

Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

Homestead of Ottawa is looking for a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team for our weekend overnight shift.

This is a great opportunity for a CMA looking for a consistent weekend schedule while being part of a team that values quality care, reliability, and the relationships we build with our residents.

What You'll Do

As a CMA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and play an important role in supporting the health, safety and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Administering medications in accordance with established procedures
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Observing and reporting changes in resident condition
• Accurately documenting medications and care provided
• Responding to resident needs throughout the overnight shift
• Providing compassionate, respectful and person-centered care
• Working collaboratively with other members of the care team
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing with the State of Kansas
• Dependable and committed to working the scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. shifts
• Compassionate and respectful approach to caring for older adults
