What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fertility Nurse position at Midwest Fertility Center?
Midwest Fertility Center is committed to providing our patients with quality care and is looking for exceptional nursing candidate to join our team. We are looking to hire a full-time experienced IVF Nurse. The right candidate will be a team leader providing coordination of IVF cycles and fertility treatment to our patients: as well as, oversee the management of our on site donor egg bank.
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Must have flexible schedule as occasional weekend rotation is required.
- Work closely with physicians and staff to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care.
- Coordinate all aspects of patient care through evaluation, OI/IUI, IVF, and early pregnancy.
- Collaborate with Third Party Reproduction Coordinators for cases where a donor or gestational carrier/surrogate is needed.
- Telephone triage with patients regarding patient medication, treatment plans and test results
- Counsel patients on infertility treatment protocols
- Communicate physician orders and instructions
- Communicate with medical doctors any patient related issues, ultrasound findings and lab results.

- Responsible for accurate and timely communication of lab results to patients
- Maintain Patient Charting, testing and flow sheets
- Patient Education on treatment protocols, medications, and infertility procedures
- Collaborate with financial coordinators, insurance companies, pharmacies, physicians, staff, and others as necessary to coordinate patient’s complete care and service.
- Perform phlebotomy and process/send out labs as needed.
- Perform procedures within the RN scope of practice and company policies.
- Assist with other office duties as needed.

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
