Duties
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of formwork for concrete pouring, ensuring accuracy according to blueprint specifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as concrete cutting, finishing, and mixing
- Install rebar and metal supports to reinforce concrete structures, adhering to safety regulations and schematics
- Perform finishing work including smoothing, leveling, and applying caulking or plastering for a polished look
- Use heavy equipment such as skid steers & excavators, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar role is highly preferred
- Proficiently run skid steers and excavators is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with various construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or restoration enhances your versatility
- Hands-on experience with heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation, or commercial driving is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols is essential
- Basic understanding of mechanical knowledge related to tools and machinery used in concrete work is beneficial
