Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Legal Counsel role in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Legal Counsel will be part of the legal team that manages deal-making, execution of real estate transactions, and the legal aspects of real estate ownership. This includes reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial leases and purchase agreements, as well as corporate formation and governance. The candidate will play an important role on the legal team and will work with various departments throughout the due diligence process for acquisitions and manage closings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in corporate formation and governance, and real estate matters
- Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating NNN commercial leases
- Excellent critical thinking skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an elite team
- Juris Doctor
- Problem solver who takes initiative
- Experience or willingness to use technology/AI to improve outcomes or efficiency
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
