Job Summary

Midwest Dental Specialists is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our growing management team.

We are a multi-location specialty dental organization looking for someone who enjoys bringing marketing ideas to life. This is a hands-on position focused on executing established marketing plans, creating engaging content, maintaining our digital presence, and helping coordinate events and outreach activities.

You'll work directly with our Operations Manager, who oversees marketing strategy, campaign planning, and creative direction. Your role will be to help turn those plans into results through consistent execution, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing social media, creating professional graphics in Canva or similar design software, coordinating multiple projects, and working independently to meet deadlines.

Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Marketing & Social Media

• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, and other digital platforms.
• Maintain social media content calendars and ensure consistent posting across our office locations.
• Execute digital marketing campaigns according to established plans and brand guidelines.
• Assist with approved paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Meta and Google.
• Prepare and distribute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional communications.
• Monitor engagement and campaign performance, and organize basic marketing reports.
• Help maintain accurate and consistent business information across digital platforms.

Content Creation & Graphic Design

• Design social media graphics, promotional materials, advertisements, and marketing collateral using Canva or comparable design software.
• Create and edit basic photo and short-form video content for social media.
• Assist with capturing photos and videos of staff, events, and office activities.
• Maintain organized libraries of marketing assets, photos, videos, and design files.
• Ensure all materials follow established branding and quality standards.
• Occasionally assist with more advanced video production, editing, or website updates as needed.

Events & Community Outreach

• Assist with planning, organizing, and executing continuing education events, professional study clubs, open houses, and community outreach activities.
• Coordinate event materials, invitations, registration, and logistical details.
• Help prepare promotional materials and communications for referring dental practices.
• Attend events and occasionally travel to our office locations to support marketing activities.
• Coordinate with office managers and clinical staff to ensure events and marketing initiatives run smoothly.

Marketing Administration

• Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, and campaign documentation.
• Track deadlines and coordinate marketing deliverables across multiple locations.
• Assist with collecting and organizing campaign performance data.
• Communicate with vendors, printing companies, and other marketing partners.
• Support the Operations Manager with special marketing projects and ongoing initiatives.

Qualifications Required

• At least 1 year of professional experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, or a closely related role.
• Proficiency with Canva or comparable graphic design software.
• Experience creating and managing social media content for a business or organization.
• Strong written communication, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Good visual judgment and the ability to create professional, engaging marketing materials.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently while following established plans and creative direction.
• Willingness to travel between our Indiana office locations as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for business travel.

Preferred

• 2–3 years of marketing or content creation experience.
• Experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, or social media scheduling platforms.
• Basic photography and video editing skills.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and digital advertising.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, or other creative tools.
• Previous experience coordinating professional or community events.
• Healthcare, dental, or professional services marketing experience.

A college degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field is preferred but not required. We value practical experience, creativity, reliability, and demonstrated ability.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $48,000–$58,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Location & Schedule

This is a full-time, onsite position based at either our Zionsville or Lafayette, Indiana office, depending on the selected candidate.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. Occasional evening or weekend availability will be required for events.

Travel between our Bloomington, Lafayette, South Bend, and Zionsville locations will be necessary several times per month.
