Midwest Dental Sleep Center is seeking a polished, professional, patient-focused Clinical Sleep Therapy Specialist to join our growing specialty healthcare team.
This is not a traditional assistant role.
Our Clinical Sleep Therapy Specialists independently guide patients through treatment education, therapy delivery, follow-up care, and long-term treatment success in the specialized field of Dental Sleep Medicine.
No dental experience is required. Extensive training will be provided.
Schedule
Professional 3-day clinical schedule:
2 days per week – South Barrington
1 day per week – Skokie
Ideal candidates live within reasonable driving distance of both locations, preferably within the North/Northwest suburbs.
Compensation & Growth
$21/hour during initial training period
Increase to $22/hour after successful completion of first 6 weeks
Structured advancement program with multiple specialist levels
Increased monthly bonus opportunities with each advancement level
Most team members achieve Specialist Level I within approximately 4 months
This role is designed for individuals seeking long-term professional growth within a specialized healthcare field.
Responsibilities
Educate and guide patients through oral appliance sleep therapy treatment
Deliver and adjust oral appliance devices
Conduct follow-up patient visits and therapy assessments
Take CT and panoramic x-rays and digital impressions
Assist with clinical documentation and patient coordination
Review treatment expectations and therapy instructions with patients
Coordinate laboratory cases and treatment workflow
Support a high-level patient experience throughout the treatment process
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation and demeanor
Comfortable working independently with patients
Detail-oriented and highly organized
