Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across commercial facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct specialized floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep floors looking their best.
- Handle custodial responsibilities with precision, including restocking supplies and ensuring restrooms are hygienic and well-maintained.
- Execute industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance tasks to support the safety and functionality of the environment.
- Assist with residential painting projects when needed, applying paint accurately to enhance space aesthetics.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Support porter duties such as moving supplies or furniture and maintaining common areas in top condition.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and facilities maintenance.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and safety standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of residential painting techniques is a plus but not required.
