Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled body person and or sheet metal person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Automotive and Aviation , demonstrating a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing surfaces, sheet metal, and basic assembly.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Assemble components as required for specific projects, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in application and alignment.
- Follow Lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in Automotive or Aviation industry.
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the painting trade.
- Knowledge of machining processes may be beneficial for certain projects.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
We Are an Aircraft Manufacturing Facility that is looking for a full time Body and assembly person. We have a professional Paint and body shop in house and would consider hiring the individual as a separate contractor or employee.
