What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Control Supervisor position at Midwest Barricade?
Summary
We are seeking for an experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to plan, set up, inspect, maintain, and remove temporary traffic- control zones. This position leads field crews, ensures compliance with approved traffic- control plans and MUTCD requirements, and coordinate safe, efficient work-zone operations.
Candidates should have:
- Current ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record ( a current MVR is required with your application).
- Be comfortable working outdoors, and directing crews.
- Have good communication skills to coordinate with contractors, inspectors, customers, and your crew.
- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Experience with the following is not mandatory, but recommended:
- Rapid Plan software and plan development skills
- TCR traffic management software
- Stripping layout and installation experience
- Sign installation experience.
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
