What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medication Aide/Medical Assistant position at Midwest Allergy and Asthma Clinic, P.C.?
We are seeking a full-time certified medication aide or certified medical assistant to work in our allergy and asthma practice. Applicants must be in current good standing with their certifications and license, must possess good communication skills, the ability to be flexible with scheduling, and enjoy working in a team-based atmosphere. Clinic setting experience preferred but not required. LPNs also welcome to apply, experience and education will be considered with pay rate.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in patient care by monitoring vital signs and documenting medical information accurately.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Work closely with physicians and other support staff on different types of allergy/asthma testing
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes and provide compassionate care.
Our clinic in Lakeside is the primary work location. The Papillion location is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and staff work there on a rotating basis. The clinic is open Saturday mornings, also on a rotating basis, with pay differential.
