About the Role:We are seeking a driven and results – oriented Territory Sales Manager to join our team in the Industrial compressed air systems industry. In this key outside sales role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling high – quality industrial air compressors, compressed air systems, dryers, filters, accessories, parts, and related services to manufacturing facilities, automotive plants, food & beverage operations, and other industrial end – users in your designated territory.You will own the full cycle in the Richmond, IN area, building long – term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering energy – efficient solutions that help customers reduce operating costs and improve reliability. *****CANIDATE MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL SALES EXPERIENCE***** Key Responsibilities• Prospect, qualify, and develop new accounts through cold calling, networking, trade shows, referrals, and targeted account penetration in the industrial sector.• Manage and grow existing customer relationships, conducting regular site visits, needs assessments, and compressed air system audits to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, rentals, or service contracts.• Present and demonstrate industrial air compressor solutions (rotary screw, oil – free, centrifugal, reciprocating, and related air treatment equipment) to key decision – makers.• Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and technical presentations tailored to customer requirements.• Achieve or exceed monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets and key performance metrics.• Collaborate with service, parts, and aftermarket teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecast in our CRM system.• Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in compressed air technology.• Travel within the assigned territory (primarily day travel; occasional overnight as needed). Qualifications• 1 years successful B2B outside sales experience in industrial equipment, capital machinery, compressed air systems, pneumatics, or related industrial products (air compressor industry strongly preferred).• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a territory – based sales role.• Candidate must have Industrial Sales Experience• Technical aptitude and ability to understand / explain compressed air systems, energy efficiency, and ROI calculations.• Self – motivated with strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.• Excellent communication and relationship – building abilities.• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided).• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft office.• Strong relevant experience.
