We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist for our Knives, Camping & Fishing category to serve our Customers by purchasing products and building relationships with our Suppliers. About the Role
- Responsible for all Purchase Order management, in alignment with the Merchandising & Company strategies through the life cycle of the purchase order.
- Meet and negotiate with Suppliers to develop opportunities, obtain product or service information and manage delivery schedules
- Participate in Promotions planning and implementation
- Assist the Merchandising Manager with analysis and management of Inventory
- Review Supplier Performance metrics & suggest & implement measures to drive improvement
About You
- You will have 1-3 years’ experience in a position requiring attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field is required
- You are a user of MidwayUSA's core products
- You have excellent product and technical knowledge
- You have a positive attitude and a willingness to continuously improve our processes
- Finally, a person who is a great fit with our Culture and Values, and who has an active interest in the outdoor/sporting industry.

- Annual Salary Range (commensurate with experience): $55,000-$71,500 with annual benchmarking and pay increases to always ensure a competitive salary
