What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at MIDWAY WRECKER SERVICE?
Overview
We are looking for Tow Truck Operators/Drivers to join our team! We are a fast paced, high energy, family owned business. You will be responsible for safely operating and driving a light, medium or heavy duty tow truck (depending on your experience, ability and licensing) while providing many services including, but not limited to: towing, recoveries, roadside assistance services, winching and other services depending on experience and ability. We expect our drivers to provide our customers with the most positive experience possible.
Scheduling
Midway Wrecker Services drivers are on a rotation schedule. The days assigned as "on shift" require our drivers to be on call 24 hours each day.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a wrecker/tow truck
- Provide roadside assistance and load/unload vehicles
- Properly update status on assigned calls
- Report any issues or incidents to manager
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Respect trucks/equipment and keep them clean
- Be Professional and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- CDL preferred, but not necessary
- TDLR (can be obtained after hired)
- Clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Negative drug test
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high level of professionalism
- Able to work as a team
Pay
- Commission based
- $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
