Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician with experience specifically in the food industry to join our team. As a QA Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that food products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You’ll work closely with production teams to conduct inspections, perform testing, and uphold GMP, HACCP, and quality assurance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
• Identify and report non-conforming materials and place products on hold when necessary
• Support HACCP and Food Safety Preventive Control programs
• Conduct pre-operational and GMP inspections
• Verify labeling, packaging, coding, and traceability standards
• Perform sensory evaluations and quality testing
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation in AIMS and other systems (e.g., SAP, MII)
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and audits
• Communicate food safety and equipment concerns to leadership promptly

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous quality assurance experience in the food industry preferred
• Basic knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work in cold, loud, and fast-paced environments

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• Flexibility for weekends and overtime may be required
