Job Title: Order SelectorLocation: City of IndustryDepartment: Warehouse / DistributionReports To: Warehouse SupervisorEmployment Type: Full-TimeShift: [Evening / Night]Job SummaryThe Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, assembling, and preparing customer orders for delivery to restaurants, and other foodservice customers. This position requires working in a fast-paced distribution environment while maintaining strict accuracy, quality, and food safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSelect customer orders using voice-pick systems, RF scanners, or pick ticketsAccurately pick cases of food products from dry, refrigerated, and freezer areasStack, wrap, and label pallets to meet delivery and safety standardsVerify product codes, quantities, and expiration datesBuild stable pallets for safe transportationOperate warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks (walkie riders)Follow all food safety, sanitation, and warehouse safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaMeet productivity, accuracy, and quality performance standardsReport damaged product, shortages, or discrepancies to leadershipQualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious foodservice, warehouse, or order selecting experience preferred (training provided)Ability to read labels, pick locations, and voice instructionsBasic math and counting skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move up to [50–90] lbs. repeatedlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the shiftComfortable working in cold and freezer environments for extended periodsAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentWork EnvironmentFoodservice distribution warehouse (dry, refrigerated, and freezer zones)Temperature ranges may vary from ambient to sub-zeroFast-paced, performance-based settingCompensationPay Rate: $19.00Performance incentives are be availableEqual Opportunity EmployerMidway Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
