Culinary Supervisor

Job Location: Brooklyn NYPay Rate: $24-$28/hrKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain Culinary Consistency: Ensure all menu items are prepared according to established guidelines, including correct measurements, cooking methods, and portion accuracy.Food Safety & Compliance Oversight: Monitor sanitation standards, GMP practices, and food safety controls throughout preparation, cooling, and storage processes.Recipe Review & Process Alignment: Evaluate recipes to confirm they meet operational standards, including yield accuracy, portion sizing, and preparation methods. Identify inconsistencies and work with kitchen leadership to improve repeatability and efficiency.Team Training & Skill Development: Support onboarding and ongoing training related to food handling, cleanliness, kitchen procedures, and emergency response.Performance Tracking & Improvement: Assist in monitoring production metrics, workflow efficiency, and quality benchmarks to support continuous operational improvement.QualificationsComfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven kitchen environment1–3 years of experience in a lead, trainer, or supervisory culinary roleCulinary school training or professional certification preferredSolid understanding of cooking techniques, food production processes, and kitchen operationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communicator who can guide, coach, and support team membersHigh attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety standardsAvailability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidaysBilingual (English/Spanish) required#ZRCompany DescriptionMidway Staffing is a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations.
