We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team on the east side of Indianapolis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks that keep our facility and equipment operating smoothly.Location: East Side of IndianapolisPay Rate: $22.00 – $25.00/hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMWork Environment: Normal temperature facilityJob SummaryAs a Maintenance Technician, you’ll use your mechanical, welding, and troubleshooting skills to repair, maintain, and improve facility equipment. You’ll work with a variety of systems and tools to ensure that all machinery and building operations are safe, efficient, and reliable.Key Responsibilities• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and facility equipment• Use MIG welding to repair or fabricate parts and equipment as needed• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner• Assist with plumbing, wiring, and low-voltage systems as needed• Conduct inspections to ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation• Follow all company safety procedures and lockout/tagout policies• Assist with facility improvement projects or new equipment installations• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to minimize downtimeWhat You’ll Need• Proven MIG welding experience required and repairing industrial equipment• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues• Basic knowledge of plumbing, wiring, and low-voltage electrical systems• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredLooking for a stable, full-time role where your technical skills make a real impact?
