Own two sites, own the shift
You are the person people look for when they walk in the door. The one who sets the tone, keeps things moving, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you have done onsite work before and you are ready for more ground to cover, this role was built for you.
As a Bilingual Onsite Supervisor, you are the face of Midway Staffing at our Bolingbrook client site, and once or twice a week you carry that same presence out to our client in Hobart, IN. You pick up the day at 2:00 PM, get the incoming crew checked in and confident, and own the floor through close. On Hobart days, you are on the road checking in on associates and new hires, spending 3 to 6 hours onsite when the situation calls for it.
Your hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekends are off. This is a full-time, permanent role, and we are looking for someone who can step in with experience and stay flexible when the week does not go exactly to plan.
Why Midway Staffing
Midway Staffing is one of the fastest-growing light industrial staffing firms in the country, and we got there by doing things differently. We do not just fill open seats. We connect great people with great opportunities, solve real problems for our clients, and build relationships that last.
When you join us, you join a team that follows through, pushes past obstacles, and wins together. That is not a slogan on a wall. It is how we operate every single day.
•Reliable. We follow through, every time. Trust is the foundation of everything we do.
•Relentless. We push past challenges to deliver results and uncover opportunities.
•Team Player. We succeed together and support one another to do what others call impossible.
What you will do
•Run the day-to-day staffing operation at the Bolingbrook client site and be the go-to contact for both the client and every associate on your shift
•Travel to our Hobart, IN client site once or twice a week to check in on associates and new hires, typically spending 3 to 6 hours onsite depending on what the operation needs
•Build real relationships with clients and job seekers at both sites, and be the first call for staffing needs, placements, and ongoing support
•Review resumes, interview candidates in person and by phone, and spot the right fit for each role
•Partner with recruiters and leadership on staffing plans that hit hiring goals
•Represent Midway at job fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach to keep the pipeline full
•Own onboarding end to end, from background checks to new hire paperwork, and keep every file complete and compliant
•Lead first-day logistics so new hires feel welcomed and set up to succeed
•Support payroll by reviewing hours, processing timecards, and approving them accurately and on time
•Check in regularly with clients and associates to keep satisfaction high and catch issues early, flexing your hours when a check-in falls outside your window
What this job is actually like
This is a two-site role, and the Hobart piece is not a footnote. Once or twice a week you will drive out to Indiana, walk the floor, sit down with new hires, and make sure the client sees a Midway face. Some visits are a quick couple of hours. Some turn into a full afternoon because something needs handling. The people who do well here treat that drive as part of the job, not an interruption to it, and they plan their week so both sites get real attention.
You will be talking to people all shift long, in English and in Spanish, and a lot of those conversations are with someone who is nervous, frustrated, or brand new. The supervisors our associates trust are the ones who make rapport quickly, listen before they answer, and follow through on what they say. The client notices that too.
Nobody is standing over your shoulder, especially when you are 50 miles from the branch. You will get support from leadership, but on your shift and on your site visits, you are the one making calls. If you see a problem, you fix it or you flag it. If a check-in needs to happen outside your normal hours, you make it happen. That is why we are looking for someone who has already done onsite work and knows what it takes.
What you need to bring
•Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must. You will use both languages every single shift.
•Onsite staffing experience is required. You have run or supported a client site before and can step in without a long ramp.
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel to Hobart, IN once or twice a week
•Comfortable with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite, plus experience using an Applicant Tracking System
•Willingness to adjust your hours for associate and client check-ins when the operation calls for it
What you get
•Weekly pay at $22.50/hour, plus placement commissions and monthly bonus potential
•A full-time, permanent role with a steady Monday through Friday schedule and your weekends fully yours
•Mornings free, with a 2:00 PM start
•Real career growth with clear pathways inside one of the fastest-growing light industrial staffing firms in the country
•A team that has your back and a mission you can be proud of
