Own the floor, own the shift
You are the one who keeps the afternoon and evening running like clockwork. The one who sets the tone, keeps things moving, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. If that sounds like you, this role was built for your kind of energy.
As a Bilingual Onsite Supervisor in Bolingbrook, you are the face of Midway Staffing at our client site. You pick up the day midstream and carry it through to close. Shift change is your moment: getting the incoming crew checked in and confident, catching what the morning left open, and making sure the client never feels a gap between shifts. From there you own the floor until the lights go down on your shift.
This is a seasonal role for our busiest stretch of the year, and we need you in the building now. Training starts immediately, so if you are ready to go, so are we.
Your schedule
•Monday through Friday: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Your hours are 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Mornings are yours, weekends are yours, and you earn a higher rate for covering the afternoon and evening window.
Why Midway Staffing
Midway Staffing is one of the fastest-growing light industrial staffing firms in the country, and we got there by doing things differently. We do not just fill open seats. We connect great people with great opportunities, solve real problems for our clients, and build relationships that last.
When you join us, you join a team that follows through, pushes past obstacles, and wins together. That is not a slogan on a wall. It is how we operate every single day.
•Reliable. We follow through, every time. Trust is the foundation of everything we do.
•Relentless. We push past challenges to deliver results and uncover opportunities.
•Team Player. We succeed together and support one another to do what others call impossible.
What you will do
•Run the day-to-day staffing operation at the client site and serve as the go-to contact for both the client and every associate on your shift
•Build real relationships with clients and job seekers, and be the first call for staffing needs, placements, and ongoing support
•Review resumes, interview candidates in person and by phone, and spot the right fit for each role
•Partner with recruiters and leadership on staffing plans that hit seasonal hiring goals
•Represent Midway at job fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach to keep the pipeline full
•Own onboarding end to end, from background checks to new hire paperwork, and keep every file complete and compliant
•Lead first-day logistics so new hires feel welcomed and set up to succeed
•Support payroll by reviewing hours, processing timecards, and approving them accurately and on time
•Check in regularly with the client and associates to keep satisfaction high and catch issues early, flexing your hours when a check-in falls outside your window
What this job is actually like
This job moves fast and the priorities shift by the hour. One minute you are walking a new hire through paperwork, the next you are on the phone with the client about tomorrow's headcount, and then you are back on the floor because an associate needs something. People who do well here like that pace. They keep a mental list running, stay organized without needing to be told, and do not get rattled when three things happen at once.
You will be talking to people all shift long, in English and in Spanish, and a lot of those conversations are with someone who is nervous, frustrated, or brand new. The supervisors our associates trust are the ones who make rapport quickly, listen before they answer, and follow through on what they say. The client notices that too.
Nobody is standing over your shoulder. You will get support from the branch and from leadership, but on your shift you are the one making calls. If you see a problem, you fix it or you flag it. If a check-in needs to happen outside your normal hours, you make it happen. That kind of ownership is what separates a good onsite supervisor from a great one.
What you need to bring
•Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. You will use both languages every single shift.
•High school diploma or equivalent
•1 to 2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support (agency experience is a plus)
•Comfortable with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite, plus experience using an Applicant Tracking System
•Able to start immediately and be available for training right away
•Reliable transportation and the flexibility to adjust hours for associate and client check-ins when the operation calls for it
What you get
•Weekly pay at $23.50/hour, plus placement commissions and monthly bonus potential
•Free mornings, free weekends, and a higher rate for the afternoon and evening window
•Seasonal role with immediate start. Training begins right away, so you are earning from day one
•Real experience inside one of the fastest-growing light industrial staffing firms in the country, with strong performers first in line when permanent roles open
•A team that has your back and a mission you can be proud of
