Diesel Service Technician-Kingsford

Midway Rentals and Sales is a premier, one-stop destination for industrial and commercial construction equipment and supplies. We are currently in search for a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help with our growing Bobcat Dealership.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline construction equipment, including aerial lifts, to a rental ready condition

• Prepare new equipment for sale or rent

• Perform regular and preventative maintenance on equipment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using computer, schematics and technical manuals

• Conduct repairs on rental or customer equipment in the shop or on-site when necessary

• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed

• Provide professional and knowledgeable customer service to clients and colleagues

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license

• Valid chauffeur’s license (or ability to obtain one)

• Ability to manage time and multitask with little to no supervision

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to move multiple types of equipment around the yard

• Have at least 2 years of related experience

• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding systems

• Must have own tools for common repairs. Most all specialty tools will be provided.
