REIC Rentals is looking for a Local Class A CDL driver for our Midway Rentals store in Whitefish!
Are you a Class A CDL driver looking for a local route with 40-hour work week? Do you have experience with hauling heavy equipment and servicing equipment of all kinds? If so, please apply!
As a local-route driver, you will be delivering designated equipment and ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered equipment. Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, ensure the truck is clean and has current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required. When times are slow, our CDL drivers help with both the Yard Tech and Service Technician functions.

A typical day may include:
- Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented.
- Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures.
- Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance.
- Help with yard tech and service technician duties when needed.
Top candidates will have:
- Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required with manual transmission experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred.
- Mechanic experience
- Experience in construction is preferred.
- Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Committing a felony with a motor vehicle
- Reckless driving
- Excessive speed
Physical demands
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds for short periods, often several times per day.
