Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Controls Engineer based in North Vernon, IN on 2nd shift. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and overseeing process control operations. Key duties include programming and maintaining electrical control systems, troubleshooting technical issues, working with robotics and motion control systems, and ensuring optimal production efficiency through collaboration with cross-functional teams. The individual will also contribute to the development of innovative automation solutions aligned with production goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Process Control and strong skills in establishing efficient automated workflows
- Expertise in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of electrical systems and diagrams
- Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues through advanced Troubleshooting
- Experience working with Motion Control systems and Robotics
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is preferred
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations is a plus
