What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weld Teardown position at Midway Products Brand?
1st Shift
Performs all required Weld Tear-Down inspections for Weld & assembly at defined intervals.
Performs all required weld-tear-down requirements utilizing appropriate tools. (Plasma cutter, vice, pliers, torque wrench, push-out tester, thread gages, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Documents all results on the inspection check sheet and SPC data entry where required.
Communicates with Area Mgrs., team leaders of weld tear-down inspection test status results and may initiate nonconforming product reaction activities when product is found to be defective.
Performs other essential functions related to WTD as assigned.
