Midway Mechanical Services is expanding into a new region—and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Refrigeration Foreman/Installer who can bring an established installation crew with them. This is a critical role to help us jump-start operations and hit the ground running on supermarket refrigeration retrofit & new construction projects across the Midwest.
If you have deep experience with rack systems, walk-ins, startups, and EMS controls (CPC, Novar, Danfoss, etc.)—and you lead a solid team that works well together—we want to talk to you.

This is a critical role to help us jump-start operations and hit the ground running on supermarket refrigeration retrofit & new construction projects across the Midwest.
If you have deep experience with rack systems, walk-ins, startups, and EMS controls (CPC, Novar, Danfoss, etc.)—and you lead a solid team that works well together—we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead refrigeration install projects from demo to startup
- Supervise and coordinate your crew, alongside other trades
- Install, pipe, braze, charge, and commission supermarket refrigeration systems
- Oversee EMS wiring, programming, and upgrades (preferred)
- Run smaller projects such as case swaps, condenser changeouts, and gas conversions
- Mentor junior techs and maintain top-tier safety and quality standards
- 5 years of commercial refrigeration installation/startup experience in a Foreman or Lead role managing installation crews
- Ability to bring your current crew with you is strongly preferred
- Experience with supermarket racks, walk-ins, cases, and EMS systems
- EPA certification preferred
- Willingness to travel across the Midwest and work overtime as needed
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- $50–$60/hr overtime weekly pay
- Per diem lodging & travel covered
