Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Grocery Manager role located in Spokane, WA. The Grocery Manager will oversee daily operations in the grocery department, ensuring exceptional customer service and a well-organized store layout. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, supervising staff, coordinating product displays, monitoring sales performance, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns. The role also involves assisting in identifying opportunities for sales growth and maintaining efficient workflow and standards across the department.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to provide excellent service and work effectively with both customers and staff
- Experience in Supermarkets or grocery operations, with an understanding of day-to-day store management
- Proficiency in Sales and strategies for driving revenue and meeting departmental goals
- Knowledge of Inventory Control practices, including restocking, evaluating stock levels, and minimizing waste or shrinkage
- Leadership and organizational skills to ensure smooth store operations and staff management
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities efficiently
- Grocery store or retail management experience is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
