As a CDL Truck Driver (Agricultural Equipment), you'll play an essential role in delivering agricultural equipment safely and professionally to our customers. This is a local driving position, meaning you'll be home every night. When transportation needs are light, you'll assist our service department with equipment setup, staging, and minor mechanical support.

What You'll Do

Equipment Transportation

• Safely transport agricultural equipment between the dealership, customer farms, manufacturers, auctions, and other designated locations.
• Haul equipment up to 16 feet wide and tow loads up to 20 feet wide and 120 feet long while complying with DOT regulations and permitting requirements.
• Load, unload, inspect, and properly secure equipment for safe transportation.
• Assemble or disassemble equipment as needed for transport and delivery.
• Complete delivery paperwork, mileage logs, fuel records, and other required documentation.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain company trucks and trailers in clean, safe, and road-ready condition.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries and pickups.

Shop Support (During Downtime)

When deliveries are complete or transportation demands are light, you will:

• Assist service technicians with basic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Help stage equipment for the sales and service departments.
• Assist with equipment setup and preparation for customer deliveries.
• Perform minor maintenance on company trucks, trailers, and transport equipment.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to safely operate heavy trucks, trailers, and oversized loads.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work extended seasonal hours as needed.
• Experience hauling agricultural, construction, or other oversized equipment.
• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with agricultural equipment and attaching or detaching implements.
• Technical training in diesel mechanics or a related field is a plus.
• Personal mechanic's tool set for routine shop support.
