What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor/Project Technician / Night shift / Full-time / Burbank,CA position at Midway Building Services?
MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS OF FLOOR TECH EXPERIENCE
- Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.
- Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
- Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
- Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors
- Shampoo carpets.
- Cleaning escalators.
- Power washing sidewalks.
- Operating chemical dispensing units.
- Clean floors by utilizing scrubbers
- Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
- May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals, cleaning solutions and appropriate equipment.
- Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
- Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
- Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8 P.M.- 4:30 A.M.
