Job Title: Building & Grounds Assistant
FLSA Status: Part-time; Non-exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday - May be required to work outside of normal work hours
Reports to: Head of Maintenance
Responsible for: None
Job Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: Basic knowledge of building and facility maintenance duties and repairs (including relevant equipment and tools) preferred
Work Conditions:
· Ability to carry equipment or supplies up ladder or stairs
· Comfortable maneuvering in small or high spaces
· Outside work in all weather conditions
· Ability to walk, stand, or kneel for an extended period
· Ability to lift 50-75lb without assistance
Skills:
· Effective communication skills (oral and written)
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
· Resolution skills to demonstrate effective problem solving
· Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload
· Attention to detail and accuracy and ability to multitask
· Ability to work independently
Additional Requirements:
· Valid Driver’s license
· Operational smart phone with cellular data plan (phone stipend available)
· Operational vehicle - SUV or truck preferred (vehicle stipend available)
