Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations and assisting in the delivery of quality patient care in a outpatient Imaging Center. This is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. No weekends
Responsibilities:
- Conduct X-ray imaging procedures following prescribed protocols
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines during imaging procedures
- Assist in other radiology modalities such as CT, sonography, and MRI as needed
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as an X-ray Technologist - ARRT or LMRT - no NCT
- Proficiency in conducting X-ray procedures and interpreting results
- Experience working in a fast-paced medical environment, preferably in outpatient facilities or urgent care facilities
- Knowledge of diagnostic radiology practices and equipment operation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements
