What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Processor position at Midtown Investments LLC?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Disposes of soiled or contaminated supplies per infection control policies.
* Cleans and disinfects and maintains equipment in a timely manner.
* Follows all infection control procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling contaminated or potentially contaminated equipment and/or supplies.
* Follows all disinfectant/sterilizing agent manufacturers’ use instructions and safety precautions.
* Keeps cleaning area free from contamination and in compliance with infection control policies and/or procedures.
* Properly marks and covers cleaned equipment.
* Mixes cleaning solutions and diluted acids per manufacturers’ label instructions.
* Assists Delivery Drivers when necessary in preparing, loading and unloading trucks/vans.
* Documents all cleaning/disinfection work on appropriate forms and keeps all documentation in an orderly manner.
* May perform functional checks on cleaned equipment (if trained to do so).
* Participates in traditional and e-learning programs.
* Implements the Company Mission Statement.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and prior work experience.
* Must possess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company standards.
* Must have basic computer skills.
* Must be willing to work extended work weeks, including nights and weekends.
* Follows policies and procedures; Supports organization's goals and values.
* Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
* Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions.
* Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
